Tea leaves can be packaged loosely in a canister, paper bag, or other container such as a tea chest. The loose tea must be individually measured by the consumer for use in a cup, mug, or teapot. This allows for flexibility and flavor control, letting the consumer brew weaker or stronger tea as desired, but some convenience is sacrificed compared to newer methods such as tea bags. Strainers, tea balls, tea presses, filtered teapots, and infusion bags can be used to prevent loose leaves from floating in the tea and over-brewing.
At Roleaf, we have a wide array of loose leaf teas – ranging from Oriental to Western to cater for your taste and needs.
