Tea Profile
Relaxing and soothing oriental lavender, this traditional floral infusion is popular for its sweet fragrance. Lavender was one of the holy herbs used to prepare the Holy Essence and Nard, or ‘spikenard’ as mentioned in the ‘Song of Solomon’. Certainly a herbal tea to reward yourself after a long day of hard work.
Origin
Roleaf’s Oriental Lavender is from Huocheng county, northwest China’s Xinjiang, known for its pleasant floral aroma and soothing properties. Introduced in 1965 from France, Huocheng is located on the same latitude as Provence in France, allowing them to share the ideal similar climate, meteorological and soil conditions. It is the largest lavender production base, accounting for 97 percent of China’s lavender output and the third largest in the world. This aromatic perennial shrub is a herb with thin branches with refined straight leaves. It grows well with sunshine, some humidity and sandy soils.
